Women seek friendship in men more cause men nearly excel being a friend with women, and this is why women are less sexualized since the aim now is friendship not love

I will never be convinced that men and women can be purely "friends". It's a juvenile concept imo.

Even men aren't really "friends" we moreso cooperate and work together and respect one another. Can have loyalty and all that but - is that "friendship"? Comradery? Perhaps IF it has all those elements.

And in that case, if "friendship" with a woman has all those elements then perhaps it's possible.

But the word itself has no meaning beyond cartoons imo.

No you aren’t being “used”, women just navigate differently with their friendships. We emotionally confide in each other and go deep into feelings whether it be positive or negative. Meanwhile for a lot of guys you might get a “sorry that’s happening” without actually talking about the issues at hand which is extremely unhealthy.

The reason why women generally seek friendships more in men than the reverse is because:

Lots of men don’t value women as people and just generally think they’re a waste of time if they aren’t getting sex
Men tend to be very emotionally stunted/unintelligent due to how they’re socialized, so the whole feelies parts of female friendships unappeals to them
This kinda ties into the first point but men will rarely befriend women they find completely unbangable, where as women are much more willing to be friends with a dude she has 0 sexual attraction towards

Men don’t excel with being friends with women anymore than the reverse, they just value friendships with women less.

Having healthy boundaries and sharing emotional stories is pretty normal. Calling it an emotional tissue is just plain weird. I get it. You don't want to view women as anything besides someone to date or have sex with, but stop trying to project that worldview on everyone else. That's between you and your licensed health professional.

I was thinking of making a post about male and female friendship but too tired. But like there isn't a problem with mix gender friendship but there are things feminist don't talk about
