How many more times must the veil be pulled aside before we recognize the disguise beforehand?

The, "Righteous Victim," may be the most powerful narrative possible. Relieved of all responsibility, and therefore feeling authorized to commit the most horrible crimes, the actual result is the denial of agency in the overriding imperative to take the most extreme possible action. No choice, no compromise, no mercy.

As a group, the Jewish religion/ethnicity is, overwhelmingly, the wealthiest and most powerful on Earth; Israel has the fourth largest nuclear arsenal on the planet; the United States government is highly manipulated by "lobbyists" and other inducements to serve Israel's interests; a disproportionate number of financial and media elites are, not merely of Jewish ancestry, but specifically ideologically Zionist, i.e. resolutely supportive of Israel.

(To be clear: Not all Jews are Zionists, nor is there any racial, ethnic, or even particular religious objection, other than those that lead to violence and oppression.)

And yet, they are always the victims! Certainly, they were, all too often... but not exclusively, and not always or everywhere. The Nazi ethnic cleansing campaign killed far more Slavs and Roma than Jews; Eastern European pogroms originated to stamp out Paganism, which it was more successful at; Western Europe generally had their own religious conflicts beyond mere discrimination, and at most points when notable anti-Semitic events were happening, there were equal (or more/worse) Protestant/Catholic/Puritan/etc, atrocities.

Now the Israelis are the oppressors; over the course of 100 years, they have, first, bought (a little), then claimed, then outright stole, and are now razing the land that they claim a (highly questionable in the first place) ancestral right to from 2,000 years ago, overriding the rights of the people who continued to live there from before they supposedly left to the current day, to even exist.

The man who placed the bomb at the King David Hotel in 1946, killing 91 civilians, all just to destroy documents incriminating the Jewish Agency (note: They originally called it the, "Jewish Agency for PALESTINE") in other terror attacks, was later given a medal by the Israeli government for the deed; they sent death squads around the world to kill their real and/or perceived enemies; they stole weapons-grade Plutonium from the United States to build their nuclear arsenal.

More recently, they bombed a refugee camp and killed hundreds because they thought that there might have been a single Hamas terrorist hiding there. They have indiscriminately bombed residential areas of Gaza, killing thousands, including children, as a response to an attack by Hamas, a group that they put in charge of Gaza in the first place, and intentionally and explicitly incited towards extremism ever since. But they are the victims.

That's power.

Women have this power; no matter the situation, if there is a conflict between a man and a woman, the assumption is always that the man is at fault. Domestic Violence laws are often written to exclude female-on-male violence, and in the US, the Violence Against Women Act has a controversial history, not because it grossly violates the 4th and 14th Amendment rights of men, but because they tried to amend it to include same-sex couples (only lesbians, presumably, although fair enough, I suppose).

Criminal sentencing guidelines explicitly give men 60% longer prison sentences for the same offense with the same record. 60% of college students are female, but there are female-exclusive scholarships; 85% of the homeless are men, but almost no homeless shelters allow men in, and boys are kicked out onto the street at 14; 80% of suicides are men; 93% of on-the-job deaths; 70% of victims of violent crime...

Men represent 80% of all victims of reported rape by incident; that number is unknown in terms of actual number of victims, since males tend to be repeat victims, but also far less likely to report (as the likely outcome is even more abuse).

But women are the victims.

How do you tell the difference?

Blacks and Hispanics don't have much power; much the African-American community, in particular, has a problem of not simply identifying as victims, but reveling in it... precisely because it gives them some sense of power, even when it holds them back. They can't ever win, or they would lose that power.

Native Americans are so desperate to hold on to the scraps of traditional culture that they have left that they are largely blind to the fact that their culture infected and evolved into world culture in profound ways. "Democracy," was considered a mad, doomed notion of the Athenians prior to European contact with the Iroquois, who so confounded the Jesuits sent to convert them, that their return to Europe was a factor in the beginning of the Enlightenment, and from there to the English, American and French Revolutions. 70% of world caloric intake is from American crops that they bred into existence (e.g. Corn, potatoes, squash/zucchini, etc).

What is holding them back? Victimhood.

The irony of playing the victim is that it gives you power, but the irony of power is that it corrupts.

There is no way to play this game well.
