The Good, Bad & Ugly

The Good, depending upon Australian law. This could set a precedence allowing falsely accused male rapists to hide their names. Don't know if a rapist's name is released when successfully convicted.

The Bad. This is that POS serial rapist with 80+ charges of rape and at least 1 charge of torture. Somehow the magistrate agrees to prevent publication of her name in the press?!

The Ugly. She's out on bail.

The Uglier. She made video tapes, so wouldn't surprise me if she plea deals to give up her child prono ring.

In New Zealand it was recently found that a murderers name can be suppressed by a court order, and the local media would be required to follow it. But the court couldnt do anything to stop international press/social media postings made overseas. wink wink
However i do believe you shouldnt be publishing anyones name until they are found guilty - be they male or female.

I’m pretty sure they were able to push that law through so they could name Lehrmann. I don’t doubt that’s how the man hating feminists in the ALP (now 40% due to the quota) sold it to other MPs to get it rammed through.

And now we’ve got to live with this just so the ruling party can do some damage control.

Yep and not to downplay any rape case - but her charges are much much worse than the Lehrmann guy who is the reason these laws were made. 80 counts including rape and assault and torture, a chaplain on schools ffs.

It’s horror movie stuff but it would be a sensation if she were named so we can’t have that screwing with the narrative.
