Any examples you guys have directly?

Basically, I didn’t shoot my shot with a Japanese girl because I felt she wasn’t interested in me, so since she wasn’t making any indication that she liked me, I didn’t bother doing anything. Didn’t see any opportunities to physically escalate. Just assumed she wasn’t interested.

We hung out twice. She seemed interested right off the bat from Tinder. But on the date, I didn’t take any initiative and just took it slow. Like, she seemed interested in me as a friend. So like, not sure why she wanted to hang out with me.

In my mind, I’m just taking the L, and assuming she was really just not interested. But like…in the past when I escalated, it wasn’t like I received insane IOIs or anything. I just happened to feel that they were into me.

So basically, is it possible she wanted me to make a move and just didn’t do anything? Maybe Japanese culture is different? Or was she just plain not interested like I’m assuming? Also curious for future reference.
