Talk to everyone. All first years are going through the same stuff.

Talk to girls in your dorm and classes and find a good group of guys to hang out with. Talk to your professors. Find one in your major you click with.

Participate- Go to the gym, join an intramural team, join a club, maybe rush some frats. Don't sit in your room online or playing video games all day.

College is the easiest place in the world to be social. You have a free gym, tons of free clubs/activities, thousands of available women in your age range, and plenty of guys to make friends with.

I'm currently studying computer science. Awful in terms of girls. About 5% of the students are females and most of them are either ugly or fat. Hit the gym, create a social circle with the most alpha guys you can find and hit on girls from other majors.

Practice NOW, so by the time you begin approaching college girls, you’re the master of the conversation.

You control when it starts, when it gets interesting, when it starts to fade, and definitely when it’s over.

Being the guy that leads the group and invites girls to do some cool shit is LIGHT YEARS ahead of being uncomfortable around a pretty woman.

Before college I would visit all doctors, because I never had time for them during college time, and check all my documents. Then I'd create the short list of necessary items to take with me and pack them. On arrival day I would come in advance in order to find the best parking lot and unload my belongings without hassle.

Every year bloggers write articles with tips and hacks for students where they describe what you should do before and after arrival to college. You could do a small research and check them by yourself.
