I was vacationing in the Czech Republic with some friends and saw a cute blonde woman working at this fancy restaurant in Prague. I was served apple strudel as part of a complimentary dinner to my friends. After playing a bit of the piano in the hall. I summoned a torrential amount of courage and hailed the waitress down. Also probably from all the wine a drank lol

"Yes? Is there something that I can help with, sir?" I remembered that I don't eat strudel and I told her that I did not care for strudel that much, "Here, you can have my strudel. I'm pretty sure it's very sweet, but not near as sweet as you are. Consider this as one half of my tip."

She blushes and walks back into the kitchen, walks back out after five or so minutes, and strikes up convo with me.

"So...how long have you been in Czechia?", she asks. "Two days, I leave tomorrow." "Do you plan on coming back sometime?" "I mean I know very little about the Czech Republic, your country is beautiful, I know that it is a beautiful place but not as beautiful as you are." ...I was not aware of her origin at this point. "Oh! Laughs I am from Ukraine and I am sorry for confusing you." "Nonsense," I reply "You didn't confuse me. I am terribly sorry for what is going on in your country." "Oh, your so sweet! Thank you."

She laughs and smiles and walks back to grab a receipt and asks for the Insta for some of the girls I was sitting with. We leave and four hours later, she texts one of them and wants to know my number.

I play the waiting game to see who texts first, she did.

This is the text verbatim:

"Hi, I want to tell you, that you’re very talented. I really enjoyed your piano playing. And thanks for the apple strudel, that was very sweet of you :) very nice to meet you, hugs again🥰🤗"

I reply and say the boiler plate thank yous and hopefully we can see each other again.

"We will surely meet again! In America, or in Ukraine after the war :) or again in beautiful Prague ;) now you have a friend from Ukraine, who is looking forward to a new meeting with u🤪"

I'm not sure what all of this means, but I felt good being able to hit on girls again.
