I just went out in a date with a girl that I’ve known for about a year. She did just break up with her boyfriend a month ago, but she has been texting me all the time since. All of the signs seemed there, eye contacting, laughing, wanting to talk to me. The body language was off tonight. Every time I took a little step towards her she took a step back. I guess that’s all I need to know. Actions speak. Maybe I’ve just been friend zoned. The night just seemed to be a waste of time and money even though she said she had alot of fun and we laughed most of the night.

Update: we have been hanging out for a while now and taking things slow. I have just been patient, and moving at her pace, letting her make the moves. We talk every day and go out every weekend while watching tv together during the week. She gave me the first kiss on Tuesday night after she picked me up from the airport getting back into town from visiting family. Things are going very well.
