To the people from U.K./who have been in the U.K. - is U.K. genuinely worse in terms of random approaching/social side of things?

Yes yes I know - excuses, just do day game, thing is it’s mostly coming from people who haven’t stepped foot in the UK.

Is this all in my head or does some of the advice that is given here need tweaking for it to work in the U.K.?
