I matched with this girl on tinder a last week. I had met her off tinder in real life a couple of times as she was a friend of friend. I could tell she was into me and my friend also repeatedly told me she was into me. But I didn't really care much as I was pursuing others at the time and never saw her as a hook up until tinder.

Fast forward to this past weekend. She makes a legitimate excuse to not hang out Friday night, but I still put down strike 1 (3 strike system). Saturday night roles around, I end up having something much better to do and text her as plan B. My better night roles along accordingly, but plan A of meeting someone better doesn't go as plan so I hit her up. No response, even through the next day.

I decided to soft next her as she didn't respect me enough to respond and continue on with my life without her. I ended up talking with my buddy and found out she slept with another guy Saturday night instead of seeing if I would be around later. I Laughed upon hearing this and lost more respect for her after learning such.

Fast forward to today, she had the audacity to message me out of the blue with a little 'hey' and 'how's it going'. I responded in kind, but did not continue the conversation as i felt i deserved more from her end if she was ever going to get with me.

The reason for this post in asktrp is did I handle this situation correctly. And if she were to hit me up again for a hook up, is it even worth pursuing?
