I mean, the way you present the question makes the answer obvious: if you can find a place in the larger city that is good for inviting girls over, then that's the answer.
However there is also more on your mind than that, since you mention higher rent. Whether it's worth it to pay an unknown amount of extra rent on an unknown income to live in an unknown 300k city vs an unknown 100k city is not answerable by me.
