When I first heared that on a show 15 years ago, I thought this could very well be the worst thing that could ever happen to me. Well after 15 years, I'm that guy. I was kinda forced to move back a year ago after my mom got overian cancer stage 3b. Me and my dad covered the surgery & chemo expenses. Actually my salary wasn't enough so I took out some loans and I'm still paying for them. My question is

I will be able to move out after Dec. 2018 but currently I'm too ashamed to admit anyone that I live with my parents. So I don't flirt or get close to any girls. Meanwhile my "game" has rusted and I am asking for tips or suggestions on how to make the best of this 8 month time. Shall I even try?

Here's the full story:

Currently %90 of my salary goes directly to loan repayments. Thankfully my mom is much better now and no longer needs chemo. I get by with 10% of my salary for the last 6-7 months. I don't go out anymore, I only buy food and other essential items and that's it.

I was so sad after learning about mom kinda gave up on everything. Before that I had my own flat, had a good social circle, been working out, travelling abroad and got laid.

A year ago I moved back in, stopped working out, stopped taking care of myself, no more holidays and got even fat. My life turned upside down.

With the start of new year I realized that this shit has to stop. I first found a small gym, it's much worse than my previous one but gets the job done, I started taking care of myself again. Also I bought some new clothes with my annual bonus. I could have use that to repay some more loans but I think I deserved a treat.

Yet being forced to stay at home changed me. I only go out to work & gym and spend my off days playing games, jerking off and watching/reading useless shit. This guy ain't me. I kinda hate myself. At the same time I gained some muscle, losed some fat and currently I have a fit body and I dress nice and look nice. Yet at the end of the day I go back to house and just stay there. I sometimes just wait for the night so I could say one less day to freedom.

I actually don't want to flirt or get close to any girl cause I don't want anyone to know that I'm living with my parents. I'm too ashamed of that.

Also I'm still on that 10%. After Dec 2018 one of my loans will finish and I will be able to spend half of my salary. I think I can move out with that maybe get a mate to share the rent.

I will probably get a promotion as well so I think I will be fine after Dec. 2018. Yet I have 8 months to go. My question is what should I do during this time? I'm thinking about bike camping during weekends(it'd be rather cheap) for the summer and just get ready both mentally and physically. The problem is during this time I meet attractive girls and get some really good signs yet I stop myself from making a move thinking(you are living with your parents you pathetic shit). So I miss those opportunities and my game already rusted. Do you guys have any tips or suggestions? I want to make the best of this 8 months. It could even be a book to read to get back in the game. Btw I'm not a shy guy, I'm actually very social and self confident. I still am till I see a pretty one. Then I just back off thinking that no one would ever want to fuck a 30 yo broke guy who lives with this parents.
