I have a dilemma about this. There is a new girl in the office, she is my junior, I like to spend time with her because of her nature, So I want to spend some more time with her.

but one of my colleagues who is also my good friend told me that it is not a good idea. You should focus on your career, doing this will affect your productivity at work and also I can get into trouble if a higher authority found that (HR and Main boss, we have also junior HR who is constantly watching us).

I was the guy who did things whatever was told by seniors, parents, teachers. But from some time I realized that you don't need to follow each and every law which society makes for you. Just live life on your own. Although you need to pay price for that sometimes it is worth paying that.

Does anyone else had approached a girl or tried to make a relationship at the workplace? what was your experience?
