M (24) here. Ladies, what do you prefer? First time meeting a guy, he obviously finds you attractive & would like to get to know you. Would you rather him ask you for his number or for him to give you his number that way it leaves you with the option if you are interested or not?

I ask cause there has been multiple times where I respectfully approach a girl or after seeing a girl a couple times (for her to get comfortable w/ my appearance) I ask for her number or some sort of contact information (whatever is most comfortable w/ her) & later as we chat, she seems very uninterested. I think I have had better luck w/ giving a girl my number that way she doesn’t feel pressured to give out hers & if she’s interested she can text me.?
