I am a 24 year old dude who just got out of college and is living in a new town where I literally know no one. I have no job as of yet but I do have a car and go to the gym, etc.

I've never had problems meeting women or people in the past but i've always had "wingmen" or other freinds that can get you in the door to meeting new people or to places where you can mingle. I work out every day, 6 foot good looking guy but heres the kicker:

I have no clue how to initiate and approach a girl out of the blue. A majority of my girlfreinds have actually taken the first move on me or have been introduced by freinds and now that I am in this place with no contacts, my approach anxiety is actually ruining my life Lol...

I just feel either I'll be rejected because the girls not interested, or has a boyfriend, or thinks im weird or whatever the case, but I can overcome that, I just dont know what to say in the situation... Most people might say man u have low self esteem and that may be somewhat true, but I always have very high self esteem about my looks, I know im attractive, it just seems im shy as hell.

Anyone have any good techniques for approaching girls and "opening" on people you dont know. To get your foot in the door with some freinds or a girlfriend? Like i said I can hold a convo its just really really hard for me to approach and I worry if ill have nothing to say or that i will make it too awkward and get all nervous.

I been watching those "PUA" Pick Up Artists things on youtube and I've actually read the book in the past to try to get over my approach anxiety. IF anyone has any tips/advice/ or videos/material on this please let me know. Im dyin here.
