After reviewing all the comments I got, many people defended pick-up community. But when I shared same thought on general dating subreddits, many people were against pick-up.

And this got me thinking. There two sides to the pick up industry. The good and the bad. My previous post was too focused on the bad side on the pick-up industry and briefly touched up on the good side.

So I decided to write a new blog post where I share the both good and bad side of the pick-up community. I decided to write this to hopefully help people distinguish between the bad and the good.

To summarise my new blog post, here’s what I have found:

Good side

You’ll be encouraged to improve yourself from within You’ll be introduced to some great books on seduction (i.e. alabaster girl and ways of a superior man) You’ll learn what women want You’ll learn self-respect

The Bad Side

wannabe pick-up artists - these are money grabby douchebags promotion of misogyny - there are some sectors in the pick-up community who see pick-up as competition and race to sleep with as many women as possible. And this causes guys to see women as objects not as people. manipulation and seedy tactics hidden camera videos.
