I want to share two articles with you. The original articles were written by Fabio Fusaro https://twitter.com/fabiofusaro and are in spanish. Hope you enjoy them.

HOLD ON, DEAR HEART.!!!!

That was the phrase uttered by a sports reporter when River tied Boca in the last minute of a second leg of the 2004 Libertadores Cup. That result would lead to penalties and the fans of both teams were being killed by tachycardia, anxiety, nervousness and -why not- anguish.

Love for a football team is as incomprehensible as love for a woman who has decided to leave our lives altogether.

Not even the players on our team share our passion...but there we were, suffering and trembling.

And our hearts survived!

Who suffers today when remembering that game in June 2004?

What's more...Who was still suffering in August?

No one.

That's why the phrase " Hold on, dear heart " has never been so well put. Because the heart only has to endure and the calm always comes.

Today we can feel "devastated". We seek to explain the inexplicable. We want to hold on to whatever it is to revive what we never wanted to kill, but it seems that it is dead. Sure...we don't want to give up and try to give one last breath...one last cardiac massage to hope.

Hold on, dear heart!

Hold on that pain passes and goes away. Whether with triumph or defeat.

When you can't hold back your tears, when you feel your chest breaking, when you don't feel like doing anything, when your strength is gone, say to yourself "Hold on, heart".

Hold on, everything happens.

Hold on, time cures.

Hold on, you deserve to feel good again and it's only a matter of time.

It hurts. Bitch that hurts.

From the outside they're going to say "Stop being a faggot", "She's just a girl".

But it hurts you. Not them. It hurts you.

Look at your chest and say: "Hold on, dear heart". And love you very much.

Trust, the heart can hold on. It's made for that.

It resists, heals and strengthens.

ALWAYS.

COME ON, BABY!

THE LION

She called me but I didn't answer the phone."

"If she calls me to congratulate me on my birthday, what do I say?"

"She says she's coming to see me at my house... What do I do?"

"What if I meet her by chance in the street?"

"She's calling me to give her things back... What do I say?"

The exact words in an answer are usually the great concern of many abandoned boyfriends who want to say the right thing to be on the way to recover them. Not one more comma, not one less comma.

We're not always going to have someone dictating the right answer. What's more...we're not always going to be sure that that answer has been so correct.

That's why it's fundamental that they incorporate the following concept:

The "what" is not as important as the "how".

And the "how" does not derive from the right words but from the right attitude.

There is a message that we have to convey with that attitude and it is the following:

"You don't fuck with me.

But watch out, this message must not only be transmitted after a break when we try to recover it but ALWAYS. From day one.

This doesn't mean that we have to be tough, or bad, or anything like that. We simply have to make her feel that we respect ourselves and that we will not tolerate disrespect.

How do you do this?

Easy: Respecting yourself and not tolerating disrespect from the beginning and from the simplest thing.

Did she make you a ridiculous jealous scene a month of being together while having dinner in a nice place you booked to make her feel like a princess?

Ok, you finish dinner, you take her home without arguing and when you leave her at the door you look her seriously in the eye and say: "Call me only when you realize what you did to me tonight and you are willing to ask me for forgiveness".

Cut your fingers before dialing her number.

This doesn't mean that at other times you can't say "I love you" to her, or that you can't give her gifts, or that you can’t compliment her. What you cannot do is allow yourself to be disrespected, to be fooled for no reason, to be forced to apologize for what you didn't do.

That's what's going to build the concept she's going to have of you:

"My boyfriend is not a pussy. You can't screw with my boyfriend.

From there you can do whatever you want but always within that framework.

You can cuddle, give her flowers, tell her that she is the most beautiful thing you have ever seen, propose to her, whatever you want.

Because she's going to be cuddling with you, she's going to be getting flowers, compliments and even marriage proposals from a guy she doesn't fuck with. He adores her but he doesn't let himself be fooled.

From there it's much easier to know "how" to respond to a message after she left you. Regardless of what is said, the important thing is to make it clear "You don't mess with me".

Let's look at the example of the lion:

The lion is the king of the jungle.

The lion is respected.

You don't mess with the lion.

Is the lion the fastest animal?

No.

Is it the biggest?

Nor is it.

Does it have the strongest fangs?

Neither.

Why is the lion the king of the jungle then?

Because of his attitude.

For its confidence

For how it stands.

For the way he walks.

For how he roars.

The lion maintains its attitude even when courting the lioness or playing with her offspring.

He may be playful and affectionate, but he is still a lion.

He may be a cutie pie, but don't fuck him up.

Weren't you a lion?
