I'm ok with and understand first date flakes, its people get nervous sometimes and back out. Hell I get really nervous myself but I'm not going to let an opportunity of meeting someone pass like that, at the very worst she can be a new acquaintance. But if I never go or flake I might regret it and play what if in the future. First date flakes don't bother me at all but what about the dates where you both have been on a few and things has escalated tremendously, things are going great, both enjoy each other's companies. I know there are legitimate reasons so I don't jump to conclusions about it but how does one go about this? Personally I'd act like it didn't even happen and it doesn't bother me, which it doesn't very much but a little part of me wonders. I'd also usually let the person who flaked initiate the next date? Or should I ask again in a week or two? Ignoring the person just seems a bit immature for me but I'm not sure if I'm thinking of it correctly.
