This started as a more detailed field report, but since it's my first, I'll be more general. I've taken a break from making any real advances in relationships with the opposite gender for a few years now, after a couple of relationships ended heavily. Seddit and some other subreddits have helped me begin to get over some depression and get my life moving a little.

The last couple weeks, I've realized, fuck it, I won't get anywhere if I don't try. This week, I got the numbers of two friends I'm interested in (one of them, I had her number, but lost my phone. She gave me a kiss on the cheek as we parted. I texted her later that night, haven't heard back. Oh well, will see her again Monday. The other is a bartender at a place I've been to after work, regularly for weeks. We were listening to a bad karaoke performance of "Bad Romance", and she thought I was kidding at first. Oops.), and worked up the courage to kiss a third on the cheek as we said goodbye.

Not a juicy FR, I know. More a way for me to keep myself accountable to follow these opportunities, and to say thanks for boosting my confidence.
