Don’t. Find a haircut that fits you and make it your signature haircut. As a teen, you shouldn’t be bald.

If you're jacked then go for it, OTOH if you're skeleton, not a good idea cos you'll look like a chemo therapy patient.

I considered this awhile back, but eventually decided against it. I think that 17 is too young to have a shaved head especially if you aren’t well built. I would recommend getting a buzz cut before a complete shave.

If you are asking then the answer is probably no. You need to be able to maintain frame and have an established SMV if you make a drastic change like that.

Think of those stupid plastic shutter glasses that kanye west made famous. They look goofy as fuck like something a 3 year old would wear. But kanye unapologetically put them on and disregarded anyone who mocked him for it. It took all of a week for those things to pop up all over the country and become cool.

If you have an established SMV and can hold frame then go ahead and shave it. If that doesnt describe you then I probably wouldn't.

Can't hurt to give it a go so long as you look conspicuously like you work out (to avoid the cancer aesthetic).

That said, I'd suggest playing around with your hair style while you're a teen. Eventually there's a decent chance you'll start balding to the point where a buzz or shave will be the most aesthetic look, might as well try some other looks while you're young.
