To start off I'm 19 and have recently become much more social with the help of this sub. For the first time this weekend I was the most outgoing person of the group, and I had a realization that could help people struggling with holding an identity in a group. After being the one to talk the most and kinda lead conversions, I noticed that people will enjoy what you have too bring to the table. By being the one to always break the silence, or always start a conversation, you will become someone that people rely on to keep the night going. This really helps with getting girls to notice you, and makes conversation with them much easier. As someone who used go unnoticed, I can tell you that this will make you seem so much more confident, and come off a lot less "creepy" when you display you intentions with a girl.

So to anyone you feels like they are being passed over in a group, my advice to you is to take control of a conversation and kill any awkward moments that may arise.
