About a week and a half ago, I met a girl through a friend of a friend, and number closed. Wasn't feeling too positive about it though because she had a lot of walls up and it seemed like she was reluctant to give the number. Anyway 20 minutes after that i met a nice british girl and forgot about the first one.

Fast forward to today, i had decided not to call the girl, but then i run into her with a friend. They're both freaking out about an insane roommate theyre trying to kick out and semi-jokingly asking me to watch over them/their house for the night. Maybe it was beta of me but I agreed. So i called later to see if they needed me to help out on security detai and she said she would call after they got back and assesed the situation.

I call again later just to make sure she's ok because im already worried about the whole ordeal..she says everythings ok, theyll call if they need me etc. I shoot the shit with her for like a minute, then bring up the topic of calling her and made up an excuse(i good one, at that), and said i would have called her if not for x. Then, presumably because she realized i was gonna ask her out, she kinda wrapped up the call.

Anyway i guess the moral of the story is to not wait to long to call even if you have mixed feelings. I still wonder if there's anything i can do now but obviously ita best not to worry about it and her liss if nothing comes of the whole thing.
