I can manage to get makeouts in clubs every now and again, but I can't seem to ever advance past that, any advice?

It helps to have an "excuse" to go back to your place with her. Maybe a cool piece of art or something that you both have in common she'd like to see. Then proceed by saying something along the lines of "Hey, how about we go look at my _______". And no, I don't think dick would be an acceptable answer for the blank.
