So, i'm a humorous guy. I like to joke and i believe humor to be one of my strengths.
Every time i've been on a date, or had a girl interested in me, it was because i made her laugh and feel good.

The thing is, recently i started making my instagram attractive so i can exchange with girls and set up dates. I'm in my mid 20s and not looking for anything serious and i've noticed people around my age feel more comfortable exchanging instagram as opposed to numbers. At least i had success that way.

Anyways sometimes, i make stories reflecting my personality, so some of them are humorous. Maybe something that i saw that made me think of something funny.

The thing is, sometimes i feel like i may be turning girls off by this. I'm attractive (as far as i can tell) and i look good in the photos but i feel like my humorous stories aren't really as successful conveying that i'm a funny guy and that they make me seem as immature sometimes. And sometimes the absence of "funny reactions" in the stories help to make me believe that.

I feel like, the second they see that "funny" stuff that i uploaded, they lost interest in me and preferred i kept it as "the good looking guy that does stuff". Well, i've tried being more serious but i like posting some funny, maybe "cold jokey" stuff. (We're talking stories now, not posts. I prefer my feed to be good looking.)

So, are some jokey stories every now and then not good when using social media as a tool to be engaged with women you want to date?
