As a guy who doesn't really dress up at halloween, what I usually use is 'cool guy Jeff'.

I just go to parties without costume, looking normal, shirt, jeans, maybe a cap on.

I strike up a conversation with a girl asking what her costume is, and u know, all that ordinary stuff. 10 out of 10 times, the girl would ask u 'What are u supposed to be?'. This is where 'cool guy Jeff' strikes.

"oh, I'm cool guy Jeff." "who?" "you dont get the reference?" "haha no, where is he from?" "you know how there are times you make out with a gorgeous dude in a dream and you wake up and you don't remember who he is? that's me."

10/10 she laughs, finds me funny, and hook up happens.
