So I went with a mate to another friends place to hangout for a quiet night in. Turns out his female housemate had a friend over who was quite cute.

We all sat around a fire outside chatting and I sat next to the cute girl and started leading the conversation.

I was getting a LOT of interest (as far as I could tell), including :

  • Lots of eye contact, smiling, deer in headlights eyes.

  • She was teasing me back, flirting.

  • When we all moved inside the house, she literally followed me and sat right next to me on the couch.

So the end of the night comes and shes about to drive home. I walk to her car with her and ask if she visits our town much. She says no but she's 'looking to meet new people' and looks at me expectantly.

Now..I've done at least 500 cold approaches, been with alot of girls, but I was so surprised when I asked her out to coffee that she sheepishly mentioned she had a boyfriend.

I mean...obviously she was attracted right? So was it just her logical mind was too strong and she couldnt even fathom cheating? Or was the attraction not strong enough to even consider cheating?

I dunno, would love to hear from guys who have been in similar situations...
