This is something I too am currently going through and trying to work on.

As far as what causes this, think of yourself as a product. You know your product works, and you know how to sell it. You want to make as much money as you can (getting results) so you don't want to stop selling. You are pretty much in a zone where you didnt have success before, but after changing and updating yourself, you are able to game at will. What a wonderful problem to have.

To solve this it becomes cliche. At least thats what I tell myself. You will only want to commit to someone who makes you a better person, who you connect with, etc. It sounds very hollywood but for guys like us, that's probably what it will take.

In the meantime just keep gaming, keep growing, and eventually you will solve this issue.
