It means in a lot of ways to be honest.
Generally it's a way of them sounding ''nice'' let's say... something to reply to not leave you on read or to seem very rude.

No it doesn't mean she's interested. There's rly no way of getting she's interested in that kind of reply
even then if you're someone who's not close with her or a total random and complimenting her story then 100% she's not interested. It's just a way of being polite.
There's no normal human being who would be interested to someone just because they complimented their story.

I agree. She could also just not be that great at responding to something of that nature, or she just wants to acknowledge the compliment and be nice but just leave it at that.
