Is there an etiquette to online game? or should i just avoid this all together?

I feel as if it is a dangerzone, but maybe there's an art to it that i haven't discovered....

Not sure what you meant or what you did.

I use Facebook successfully, and here's why. /r/seduction encourages to have value, including social value and rightly so. You acquire that in a variety of ways, from following your dream-life, to have an active social life; and whether we like it or now, Facebook reflects such value.

Old school PUA, and I mean pre-FB would teach how to fake value, and you can still do it, but than a quick look at FB and the made-up value comes into question.

Be interesting, and you can do so by truly live your own life, on your own terms. One example, one of my hobbies is that I am into photography, and into parties; either I organize parties (small and big, at my place or events); or I am at parties. So there I am the semi-official photographer, very casual, nothing FB-like, and with a few artistic touches. Everyone knows that the photos will appear on FB. So when people see my FB they see a ton of albums, and photos of my friends, and photos of me, having fun and doing interesting things in interesting places.

When I go somewhere, be it a concert, or a good movie opening, or an event, I post it on FB and I invite those of my friends who I think they will enjoy the event, different friends enjoy different things.

So, when I meet someone new, and she sees my FB, she has million questions about me and what i do.
