Ok, so the weirdest things have happened to me lately.

Just a quick paragraph about me, I've been single for a little over a month now, I started reading up on PUA-knowledge well ahead of my break up and I've been practicing a lot since then. I don't do F-closes, but I've had a bunch of K-closes and 2-3 numbers every time when going out, so I'd like to say that given the time I have invested so far, I've been fairly successful.

So, here's the thing: I was out and I met this HB8 (a 9, if you're into nice teeth and/or Game of Thrones) I hit it off with, so I did the kino escalation ladder just as you're supposed to, we were running around holding hands, hugging, dancing tightly, a little grinding, hair pulling, throwing her against the wall (in a playful manner, don't worry ;)) but I decided I am going outside for a few minutes with a friend before I seal the deal. Cue me coming back in seeing her making out with... a girl? I still number closed her later but as you can imagine, I was quite perplexed. She had no history of bi-curiosity and she didn't know the girl either.

Fast forward to last night: Sort-of same situation, I am escalating with a girl who I thought was kinda cute (HB6 at best) and I was doing great, she was sitting on my lap etc. When I went to the bathroom I met a friend of mine who's been single for 5 years and he told me "man, if you wouldn't mind, I really fancy that girl". And since I'm a good friend, I was like sure, go ahead. So when I exited the bathroom the girl took me by the hand and said "let's go do shots", to which I replied "I think there's somewhen here who is a lot more fun than me." and grabbed my friend. Of course, 20 minutes later they were hooking up, without any prior DHV building or escalation on his part.

Now, which I was speculating, obviously, the girl had the hots for me, not him, so after a fairly long and way too intense make out session, while he was in the bathroom, she came up to me and went "I always want what I can't have", instigating that she had rather made out with me, to which I replied "just be happy with what you got", acting my aloofest alpha I could muster.

So my question is: Can the sexual tension you build transfer over to another person if you don't act on it in a timely manner?
