Hey gents (and ladies!),

So, I'm a bit at an impasse here. The TLDR version is that I met this girl at a bar last Sunday with her friend. We hit it off, got drunk, had a lot of playful banter, went skinny dipping on the beach, I'll leave the rest to your imagination.

Anyway, she gave me her number when we parted. An hour afterwards, she called me but I missed it by a few seconds and tried to call back but with no response.

So, before I crashed for the night (see: 3 am in the morning) I sent this.

Me: (3:16 Am) Hey, pretty sure you just called me by accident. I'll text you in the morning once we're both feeling a little more clear headed. Night!

Her: (8:16 AM) Omg [Emoji of a girl face palming]

​

I interpreted this moreso as 'omg my aching head' considering I was *very* much feeling the same way.

Me: (9:05) Things they tell you about your late 20s that I'm starting to realize are true: It's kinder going out for a coffee the next day than it is going back to the bar... that said, I know you're headed back to [City where she works], so do you want to grab a cup with me later this week when you're back? But I definitely need a little morning pick-me-up today after last night.

( [My name/ The name she thought I was when we first met/a joke name she kept calling me] from [the bar] last night.)

Her: (9:56 AM) Haha so many names
Her: (10:14 AM) I don't usually act that crazy I'm so embarassed!

Me: (10:46 AM) Haha, not my fault you keep using the last two.
Me: (10:51 AM) Well, you weren't the only one acting a little crazy last night. So I think you have just as much dirt on me as I do on you! But I think you're awesome and I love your sense of adventure. I'd like the chance to get to know you better.

Her: (11:37 AM) Well I'll be back down soon! [Her family has a beach house she visits regularly on the weekends in my town, which is why she was in my town in the first place]

Me: (3:55 PM) Well, next time you manage to escape [Company she works for], hit me up if you want to hang out. I'd like to take you out some time.

Her: (5:29 PM) Okie [smiling emoji with halo]

Her: (5:29 PM) *[smiling emoji]

Since then, I haven't contacted because I've been mad busy with work. I have three designer shows coming up with this month and its been crazy busy and its required super focus from me. Its been three days since last contact.

​

I would genuinely like to see her again and get to know her and see if we were compatible. Worst case scenario, we move on. There was definitely physical attraction. But I clearly didn't *lock down* a next meet up.

1) How should I go about reaching out again?

and 2) What do you think I did wrong here and what can I do or change for this second chance to make concrete plans?

3) Any other advice?
