(this is a 19/m chasing a 19/f)
I've known this girl nigh on 4 weeks; we get along really well, and I generally have an awesome time with her. I do want to go out with her some time but university, gym, sports (rugby and boxing) and housework generally get in the way (I gotta cook for my sister sometimes, she's a nurse), and it is well known among my circle of friends that any time you get with me is pretty valuable in my busy schedule, so you don't waste it, ever, or I don't make the effort to make time for you again.
Now, let me first preface this with the following details:
-
Her brother is acting as a wing man, so I have inside information.
-
She's devoutly Catholic
-
She's the type of girl to really like a guy, but when she finds out the guy likes her or is attracted to her, she freaks out and gets really uncomfortable and that's the end of that, so...
-
...because of this fact she's NEVER had a boyfriend before, and MANY other guys have failed before me.
-
Her brother has introduced me to some of the family; I'm in the good books, for now.
You have a good picture of the current situation now? Good.
So she and I have been texting for the last few weeks; so she takes her time to reply to my texts; I do as well, she would be lucky if she is getting 1 text a week from me, and this is as mentioned before due to my hectic schedule.
We have studied together once, but then on that occasion I had to cut it short and go to work, to her dismay.
So her brother texts me yesterday and says "Hey bro, you probably should stop texting [redacted] for a while bro. She is on to you". Now imagine my confusion for the following reasons:
-
I hadn't been actively pursuing her; I'm too busy. I know I am indeed attracted to her, but I haven't made any attempts to ask her out as of yet.
-
I really don't know how 1 text a week is too much, although I must admit I am the one texting mostly.
Anyways, I talk to my mate and she said she wouldn't be really comfortable texting or talking to me if she knew that I was attracted to her; so my mate being the mate that he is said that I'm after another girl in my Nursing year, to which she said "that's good", which puts a damper on things.
Latest information tells me that she likes a guy in engineering, and I must admit, I am very angry and insulted at the moment for the following reasons:
-
He's a scrawny shit with more game than me (who probably had more time than me to build rapport).
-
My friend's girlfriend said when she talked to my friend's sister, the sister apparently said "Crunchie is a nice guy, but he's not my type", which is really, really insulting.
I thought me acting like my strong commanding self would put her off, in fact, me acting decent and docile was the nail on the coffin.
The chase, however, isn't over yet; she's still single, and I've yet to bring out my other tricks so we'll see how it goes. Time to go full Alpha. I'm not being beaten that easily.
In the meantime I'll go chase other girls; I'm in Bachelor of Nursing, so there isn't exactly a shortage of girls to go after.
Lesson here boys is don't act too docile, and don't act too much of a douchebag either.
Part 2 will come at the end of this month.
