Hey, I'm someone who care a lot about my look, my lifestyle and how others see me. I've worked hard through a lot of self-critique and mental practice to change who I am both on the outside and inside trying to be attractive, but seem to have no success what so ever. I have no issue talking to people and have a pretty wide social life to the point where I know many girls on a starting level, and many girls know me from certain impressive achievements I've made within my hobby and school. I know that I can still improve but I'm starting to wonder whether it is mostly just me being oblivious to the subtle signs that some of them might find me attractive. So what are some key signs in a high school setting that a girl is into you, from the perspective of someone who doesn't know many of them on a super deep level but who are far from a loner or unknown to them?

Reason I'm asking this is that the trend of massive self-critique is starting to run my mental health into the dirt. It's beginning to break my self-esteem apart and I don't know if I'm just being pessimistic about myself when I'm actually doing well already, or if I need to keep following the call in my brain and step up my self-improvement game even further. More info can be found on my other post on r/get_over_it.

Thanks and sorry if this is the wrong place.
