I don't know what to ask for specifically. I guess just want some commentary and thoughts on my experience. I know that nightclubs are not necessarily the place you go to find meaningful relationships but I read that interacting with women in nightclubs doesn't necessarily require much talking since it's so loud. That's perfect for socially awkward me. Anyway the whole nightclub thing was really out of my comfort zone. I'm still mentally digesting it but I guess that it could have gone worse.

The good: Grinded against a girl for 30-45 minutes. She was the one who initiated it too. I mean I sort of started it by dancing close to her and her friend (Who I was actually trying to get with but that's a different story). We didn't really talk and she ended up having to leave. That was fine with me because she wasn't really physically my type. It was just nice to get some attention.

I danced with another girl who I was more physically into. Unfortunately her much much older friend didn't like me for whatever reason and tried to get her to dance with someone else. Rather than cause any problems I ended up walking away from that.

The bad: I was rejected a decent number of times and man getting rejected is really demoralizing. My "romantic life" before was pretty much done all through dating sites and such. Rejections there are somewhat easier to take for some reason.

The weird: At the end of the night I had to use my cell's gps because I couldn't find my car. Some random girl came up behind me, embraced me and said that I was cute and asked if I was playing Pokemon Go. Part of me was pleased, another assumed that she was just messing with me and a third just really wanted to go home because I was really tired. Regardless I was quiet for a while before finally replying that I was just looking for my car. She said aw and while she was leaving said that she liked my shirt. I'm really bad at reading social cues from women but I'm guessing that she was teasing me because she assumed that I was some hapless guy playing Pokemon Go at 2am downtown.

Oh and much earlier on some random half-drunk girl noticed me sitting in the sidelines and said that I should just go up and dance with whoever and not just sit there. I asked her if she wanted to dance but she of course said no. I'm not sure why she cared one way or another.

A guy went up to me gave me a handshake and a sort of manly hug. I think he saw me struck out with a girl.

A lot of the aforementioned might seem like pointless minutiae. However, the nightclub scene is completely new to me though. I'm thinking of going again next weekend but I'm trying to careful to not burn myself out. Rejections are kind of tough for me. I also feel inspired to hire an personal trainer, hit the gym and clean up my shitty diet. I'm hoping that I'll be able to hold onto that motivation.
