Biggest advice I can give you is to treat them as you would a friend. Storytelling and being funny usually helps and try to genuinely get to know someone. More often than not you miss your opportunity by overthinking it. Initiating a conversation with a compliment really helps but don't make it superficial or target it specifically towards their body.
