Based on the little I know she may be crushing on you. The next time something like this happens you should do something like this.

She says "I should feel lucky to know you."

You say: "Damn right you should." Say it in a joking way. Half joke / half serious.

As soon as you say it, nudge her away. Like push her on the shoulder. Bump her with the side of your butt against the side of her butt. It will depend on how you're positioned. After you bump her away, grab her for an "I'm just playing with you" hug. The kind of hug you'd give your little sister after teasing her.

See what she does. If she resists the hug (unlikely), then you've read all the signs wrong and she just likes you as a friend. If she suddenly grabs you for a tighter hug, she's into you. She's just been waiting for you to do something. If she's indifferent to the hug, then it's hard to tell. Try the same strategy a second time and see if it goes somewhere then.

The joking statement and little sister hug are friendly enough that if she's not attracted to you sexually, you can still be friends, because you didn't really indicate interest. You just opened the door slightly to see what she would do.
