Hi Seddit!
Bear with me for a rather long story. At the end of last term, when exams were over and four months of summer holiday had just begun, I started chatting to this girl. She lived next door in our halls (dorm) - despite this we mainly chatted on Skype and never really "hung out". I was quite lazy at the time, spending my days getting achievements in Red Dead Redemption, and my evenings drunk. I wasn't really interested in her, she was just 'entertainment'.
I was in Spain for most of the summer, and we stayed in touch now and then. Suddenly however, the tone changed. She became more direct and was now obviously flirtatious. In my endless boredom, I did play along, and a game of cat and mouse followed - all of this during the month of July, by the way. We did not really chat when I was back home.
When I came back to uni in September/October, she was very confrontational and to the point, and at one point asked me "I just wish you would let me know if you liked me or not so I knew if I was wasting my time". Yes, this was still over Skype... I was rather put off by this comment (AFC?! you tell me...), so we sort of lost contact.
A couple of weeks later, in the end of November, during my football's team weekly post-football pub session, she texted me and asked if I was pissed off at her. I, being slightly inebriated (off my face) at this point, said I never had been (this was true though, I was just shocked at how forward she was). This never really led to anything, probably because I regretted even answering her the following days.
Months passed, and there was no communication whatsoever. I know some people that she now lives with, and apparently she was 'trying to get over me', and claimed I had 'led her on'. Fair enough, I thought, but was not really bothered. It would seem like the whole situation would pass into nothingness.
Alas, and as you have all guessed, this was not the case. This Friday - again after a session at the pub - I texted her while at a night club, this time with me asking her if she was pissed off. After some back and forth we decided to meet and talk things over face to face... so I left the guys and met her about 15 minutes later. I should note that I was quite drunk at this point.
Anyway, we met, hugged, talked a load of shit... I remember trying to kiss her but she said that would be weird. More talk, awkward confrontation (alcohol, fuck yeah), and joking around. It should be noted that she was completely sober... anyway... she eventually said she would walk me home (I have a history of doing stupid things while drunk - I actually stole an orange traffic cone that night, somewhat of a student tradition here in England). When we arrived at my doorstep, I cheekily asked her for a good night kiss - and to my drunken surprise she agreed. She told me she would do the kissing, and I was ordered to keep my hands off her, close my eyes, and not kiss back. She gave me the best kiss I have ever experienced, and walked away. I stood there, and remember dropping my keys when opening the door....
Anyway, one hour ago she texted me and wrote "So, do you remember any of the other night then... Or is it all just a drunken blur? x". I still dunno what I want with/from her, and I don't wanna fuck too much with her feelings again (we have a lot of mutual friends and I'd rather not ruin my reputation).
What the hell do I answer?! It almost seems like she's giving me an excuse for having acted the way I did?
tl;dr I led a girl on last summer, we dropped contact in November, but on Friday whilst drunk I texted her to meet me and she kissed me, and she is now texting me asking: "So, do you remember any of the other night then... Or is it all just a drunken blur? x". WHAT NOW?
