I think it can be helpful, but it can go too far real fast. In my opinion, it's better to let the person show you who they are. If you look at too much on FB, you might meet them in person with some pre-conceived ideas that may be completely wrong. Plus you might let something slip that you found on FB that they didn't tell you, and you could look like a creeper. The only thing I ever might say when talking to them is "Oh yah, I saw your status when I got on Facebook the other day, sounds like that was a lot of fun" and nothing more (and that's if you're friends with them, so it shows up on your feed). I wouldn't use Facebook info in an opener, use something situational if you need an opener.

Just as much as I was thinking. Natural conversation and discovering a person's habits and hobbies seems to be much more interesting than the cut and dried nature of FB info.
I go as far as to not friend people I'm interested in/remove them from friend feeds because it makes the interactions that more interesting.

God I love the title of this thread.
i used to do that a little bit.. but tbh, it's a recipe for sequencing error -- by this i mean if you do this kinda thing you'll probably subconsciously, if not consciously start qualification before she IOIs.
the right frame to have is I don't give a shit about you until you start DHV-ing, then you can qualify her.

I wouldn't do this, it's just kind of a creepy one-sided approach at getting information. That's not seduction, that's akin to stalking. I think maybe this is why I can't deal with okc too well.
