Well, I've been reading seddit for a few weeks now lurking and learning and last night was finally able to apply some of the things I've learned though being slightly buzzed most definately helped.

I'm from a small town with very few pickings. No real bars, no hangouts for people my age other than church so finding females that don't want to get married/have kids is fairly difficult.

Well last night, I went up to Applebee's for their weekly kareoke night which was absolutely horrible. Took a friend up there as an unwitting wingman and he played the part perfectly even if he didn't realize it.

So we sit around for an hour or so, talking to people who come up to us that we know and basically just shooting the shit. As the night goes on, I'm getting pretty buzzed and so is he so we plan on leaving soon. As we sit outside finishing our last beer and smoking the last cig of the night, I see an old friend walking in with a set so I called her over and we got to talking one on one.

Thing is, her father work for my father. We've known each other for years and whil I've always thought she was cute (HB8) I've never tried really approaching her (maybe AA?). Well, being buzzed, I didn't care. She was cute so I laid it on heavy.

Opened with the fact that she needed some computer work done, which I'm sure most of you can relate to having to suffer through, and then ended up talking for about an hour by ourselves. It was awesome from what I remember but I'm slightly hazy. From there I #-closed as I was leaving and plan on giving her a call this weekend. We'll see how this goes.
