This isn't a field report, although it was very motivating when I first looked back on what happened.

So I friend recently invited me out to club. There I met his groupies, none of which I had previously known. They were really cool peeps and the club was wild and packed.

Anyways, I very much ignored them for the most part and did my own thing. I did my own dancing, both on and off stage, and I noticed they were following me around. This was one of the first times I was actually leading anyone in a social environment.

At one point, one of the guys of the group actually asked me whether I was just there to grab girls or to have fun. I don't remember responding to it, but I'm glad that he noticed I was actually taking fun over girls in the situation.

tl;dr not giving a fuck about girls and doing your own thing - thus generating excitement - works.

EDIT: They also asked for my phone number first and I was the one leading the way to the dance floor. They were asking questions about my identity as well. Shit was really cash.
