This is my first FR so please bear with me. (I wrote all this out earlier but accidently closed the tab and I am too lazy to reread everything so here is a condensed version, hopefully it conveys the same effect)

Background: I'm a college student, and I started reading seddit about 1 - 2 months ago. From what i've experienced, getting #s at parties requires a simple conversation. So far I the most noticeable areas I need improving are escalation and text-game.

HB6 - #close Happened about 2wks ago

I'm out of town 5hrs away from where I go to school, at a friends place with some other friends from a different town. Show up at the party in a descent state, but I had the IDGAF mentality, not really expecting anything nor trying to receive anything.

I was outside in the backyard the entire night, with my friends from out of town and my friends I brought just shooting the shit, HB6 with her friend HB8 came outside asking for a light, they are pretty much in a group all night. I managed to isolate, started a convo, found out her parents live in the town I go to school in. Talked about where she was from. Got onto the topic of Spring Break, found out she was gonna be in town for spring break. Used that opening to go for the #, said something like "Why don't you give me your #, and i'll call you so we can hang out". Got her name and number (didn't even ask her name until I got her number). Talked a lil more, party ended, left (didn't say goodbye).

As I was driving home HB6 texted me: HB6 - "Hey just wanted to say it was nice meeting you guys...hope you guys had a good time :)" - 2:11pm

Me - "Eh...it could've been better ;)" - 5:53pm

HB6 - "lol" - 6:10pm

Me - "I'll bet you had a good time with us" - 7:35pm (Tried to pursue a convo)

HB6 - "lol for sure all you guys were cool" - 7:38pm (Didn't know what to say after that, honestly, didn't really try to)

About 2wks later, and I've been reading a lot of seddit lately so I wanted to practice some text-game (bad intentions?)

Me - "Hey, what are you doing for spring break?" - 10:46pm

HB6 - "Hey :) well I'm in [town] for a few days with HB8 then might go to [another town] later in the week...what about you?" - 10:53pm

Me - "leaving town in a few days, just trying to find something to keep me occupied til then...any suggestions? :)" - 11:30pm

HB6 - "Well I honestly don't think there is much to do here other than hitting up the board walk in [beach town] oh and I think the [event] is in town but idk since I'm never in [town]...I know they told me about a great hookah place in [town] but I have yet to go" - 12:07am (She gave me several options for a possible date; boardwalk, [event], hookah bar)

Me - "Hmm maybe, but I think i'll watch movies and drink instead...your welcomed to join only if you promise to behave :)" - 1:02am (Wasn't in the mood for [event] or the long drive to [beach town], and I'm not a real fan of hookah. Any suggestions to a better reply other than "[event]/boardwalk/hookah? [day]? [time]?" would be nice)

HB6 - "hahaha what are you talking about I always behave :)" - 3:43am (any suggestions to what I should reply?, I figured I'm in and I should arrange a movie night with her then escalation from there)

Me - "haha i'll be the judge of that...movie, my place, tomorrow night? Since i'm so nice, i'll even let you pick any movie you want" - 2:10pm

HB6 - "lol :) wish I could but I already have plans :/" - 3:29pm (I tried, oh well...next)

TL;DR Met Hb6 at party, #closed, texted a lil, stopped for 2wks, texted again to set something up
