Cool. Sounds like you have a great opportunity ahead of you! But remember, you did a favor for this girl and so far she sees you as somebody that will do whatever she wants at the drop of a hat. Instant friend-zone!

My advice is take her out somewhere fun. If she says no, tease her with a "hey, you owe me one for the volleyball game ;) besides, it's gonna be something you'll never forget" and I think she'll be a lot more enthusiastic. Of course, thats my style and may not work for you. Use your own variant if you wish, or not. Up to you.

But hey, congrats for taking advantage of an opportunity. Those other guys are still in their dorms right now, not getting any ;)

I like the idea of a story to illustrate your point, and well done with the number close.

Random note, you're a UConn student I take it? The Oozeball description and trip to Starbucks just seems way too familiar.
