Yes. It was projections of my own judgment of myself and others. Stop judging yourself and hedge some empathy.

Also if your brain if scared of approach or rejection, it will use any trick in the book to get out of that situation, such as the weather, we lost the game, we won the game, we tied the game, the game we'd canceled. Everything is an excuse when you really don't want to do something.

Sounds like your basic approach anxiety and whatever you think people will believe about you to be true or not is entirely in your conscious mind to keep you away from these women, it’s your ego doing its main job to protect your identity in over-drive. If you want to get past these responses without your ego getting involved then drive thru the fear. Remind yourself that you can handle it.

What’s the worst a random stranger’s gonna

1) Think? “Oh this is a guy who likes women, what an asshole”. 99% of them would be wishing they could do it too.

2) Do? Nothing, and you’ll never meet them again.
