I went out with two guys yesterday to a bar around here. We did some light street game at night to open ourselves up to pickup at the bar and then we entered the bar, opening a group of people as we moved up in line.
I clammed the fuck up. I didn't feel like talking to the group we opened in line. When we got into the bar, we for the most part split up; I walked around aimlessly for awhile.
Finally, my friend pushed me to open a set. I did a funny opener, not for any numbers but just to get "out there" a little, and then ditched the set. My friend brought me into another set, and I flirted with this girl for some time before her and her friend left for the washroom.
I walked across to an isolated location in the bar and solo opened a girl. She was a Chinese 8 at least. We spoke for a bit, her friend dropped by, and I ran out of thing to say before disappearing again.
TheRish introduced me to his group of friends that arrived and I didn't feel like talking to them either. I know they weren't very interested in me but I also know I was to blame for that, and I accept the responsibility for my own night. I know I'm out here to creat my own reality and happiness.
I'm having difficulty coping with other alpha males or PUAs in the group, Seddit. Hanging with a bunch of PUAs for a few weeks now, I noticed that everyone in their own way tries to be the alpha of the group of guys or women in some situation. I personally don't want to raise my voice or raise a competition vs. one of my friends for a group but sometimes it feels like just that; that it's a competition against my friends. How do I get over this mindset?
