Why leave it up to her to schedule things? Telling her you should grab lunch is not the same as asking her when that is going to happen.

Also that other thread doesn't really work because you didn't propose a specific time for lunch.

Edit: You shouldn't have said you'd talk to the roommate. Play up the "this is fun because its a secret" card. "Secret Lovers" is chick crack

Later edit: yeah you really shouldn't have told her you talked to him, now there is a bit of pressure between you two because your roommate knows about you two and basically said you guys should hookup, and she has to further worry even if he is cool with it now, whether he will later hold it against her.

As a female, I'll just say that this level of pressure to get lunch, especially during such a busy time of year, would be a major turn off. Do not text her on the 28th or any time after that! Let her come to you. If you send one more text, she probably will ignore it/block your number.
