Background: There's a girl I had a little bit of a crush on. I made a move one time and got rejected, so I moved on, staying away from oneitis.

Current scenario: She is coming on a trip with a group of friends in a couple days, but needed a place to stay for two nights. I offered my bed. She obliged. I made a move again after we had been lying there for a while, and she accepted it. It was getting kind of heated, so I made a move towards her pants and she said no. So I just dropped it and decided not to try again. My roommate said I should have pushed through the resistance, but I disagree.

So this leads to my question: Do you always try to push through resistance, or only in some scenarios?
