Not sure if you would classify as a FR... really just a story really that I wanted to share.

So last Saturday after watching UFC 143 and seeing Carlos Condit execute a masterful gameplan to win the Interim Welterweight title I decided to text and friend and tell her how much I missed her and that we needed to hang out.

Background on our friendship: we met in highschool, I asked her out when we were juniors or something, she rejected me but we stayed friends and moved on. Now being in towards the end of our college careers we hang out on occasion (bars, group movies, parties, etc) but it's very sporadic cuz we live 2hours apart.

So she tells me that she is planning on coming to town in a couple weeks and since I had a little liquid courage I told her that she can always stay w/ me. She politely turned down the request and said she had it covered. So I just said "fuck it" and told he that I've always had feelings for her and all that but she explained her side and I understand why nothing ever happened now.

So I tell her I'll always feel that way but I thought we could still have fun together. She of course says "innocent friend fun" but being laced w/ truth serum I tell her I was thinking of a different kinda fun. She questions FWB and says nothing good ever comes from it and I just tell her maybe a one time thing or something. More convo goes by and I actually tell her that I would rather hook up w/ her than a random girl b/c "I don't think you'd be a boring fuck" EXACT QUOTE.

TL;DR: Was honest and direct w/ my good friend and said that I think we should hook up and she never got pissed and said there's no way it's happening.
