So this may sound blasphemous to most people on seddit but i'm not really all that serious about pick up. I like it, and i use it, and i read about it, but i haven't integrated it into my life, its just something i'll do if the opportunity arises. Well the opprotunity arose, but a confusion may have caused me to blow it.

Tonight I went over to someone who i'm friendly with's house (probably haven't chilled with him in 2 yrs), with a good friend of mine who still chills with him here or there. When I arrived to his house I saw him and some cute chick outside smoking a cigarette. Because I hadn't seen him in years for some reason I immediately assumed it was his girlfriend. I didn't know if he's in a relationship, I don't have a facebook or anything like that, but for some reason because it was just the 4 of us about to burn I assumed.

So to be respectful, rather than hitting on her I was just friendly, but not giving her any special treatment you know? Pretty much I was just pretending like she was just a regular female friend of mine.

I acted sorta awkward and nerdy, and was talking about how I want to do stand up because I was stoned out of my skull honestly hahaha I have no ability with women when I'm blazed and it showed talking to her, I must have came off as a bit strange or nerdy or whatever.

Well i found out after I left that she's single, and that she actually recently broke up with a boyfriend of three years a couple weeks ago. She seems pretty chill and she hangs out with my good friend a lot recently so I'm probably going to see her again soon. He's not going after her tho no worries. But if I see her again soon- How should I act, and what sorts of games and technique should I play to show her that I'm confident and interested in her. What's my angle, how do I recover and pick her up?
