Hey Seddit, a little background story on me here. I'm a college guy, very short (at 5'3) but I've been told I'm reasonably attractive. I've heard 7 or 8 for me but who am I to judge that really? In this sense I'd say I'm a pretty normal guy, but unfortunately I haven't been too successful with women.

A good friend of mine made me realize though, that about 90% of my problem with women is that I hardly ever spoke to new ones, so I made it my goal (starting last week) to approach 1 new woman per week (as opposed to the 0 I was averaging)

I've only made two approaches so far both unsuccessful (1 of the girls was engaged!) But it's the other that I'm more concerned about. When I went for the number, she told me that she had issues in the past with giving her number to people she just met (which I get, some people are creeps)

My question really, is what can I do to improve my chances of actually getting the number or getting her to meet up at another time? Either way I can't believe that I haven't been doing this all along. I don't know why, but the moment I got done talking with the first girl, the entire process seemed much less intimidating. I'm definitely going to raise the quota to 3 or 4 per week because I've already met the initial one for this week.
