What do you mean give up? There is no giving up, you are for the rest of your life going to be attracted to women, giving up the persuit of women and sex means being lonely, and I prefer chatting with girls and getting rejected than being lonely.

Now, with exposure and experience you are going to calibarate and adapt, even if you don't know any techniques. Second, it's impossible for general seduction techniques to not work for you, by general I mean conversation, rapport, and attraction/teasing.

Two things determine if something works or not (aka rejection rate), 1) how congruent you are, which comes with exposure and experience 2) how much you and the girl are suitable, there are girls that you will never have a shot with, there are girls who require no effort at all and they are yours, and then there is everything in between. With time, confidence (exposure,experience,calibration), you will get more girls that will simply get easier and easier to persuade.

The only time to give up is if you're in a relationship with someone you love.
