Went out to a bar/club solely to practice non verbal techniques. Grabbed a beer and sat down at the bar. It took a while, when i was almost done with my beer to finally get an eye contact from a girl. I raised my glass up in the air. She hesitantly acknowledged me and went on her way. A few moments later and one more cheers from another girl, i was done with my beer.
I moved onto the dance floor, just doing my usual thing, when a really drunk girl started dancing around me. The HB6.5 was trying to get my attention, and after a while i caved in and danced with her for a bit. I do not hit on drunk girls being that they make me feel a bit creepy doing it. And so even though i should, i made little to no kino and just let her be her drunk self.
Later on into the night i opened a HB7 at a table. She was sitting alone
Me: where are your friends? HB7 : They went to the bathroom and the other is getting a drink. Where are your friends? Me: They are late as always. They run on asian time.
This is where i moved next to her so that i do not have to scream just to talk to her. Her asian friend shows up at the table. I introduced myself and included him in the conversation. The friend says "she likes asian guys", making it plainly obvious what i was doing and just a bit awkward for her. She starts to smile and turn her head away from me. i asked her what she did for fun, and she diverted the question and talked to her friend, saying something along the lines of liking to drink water. I felt the "they are purposefully excluding me from the conversation technique" and so i just left.
So seddit, should i have stayed in the HB7 set a little longer. Maybe they were not excluding me but just had an inside joke? Don't just bail immediately after the first resistance?
